This past weekend was fun in several ways.
Saturday I taught a two hour yoga philosophy class for teacher training. Have I mentioned how much I love doing stuff like this? As you can imagine. Just me getting to run my mouth and listen to students on subjects that mean a lot. I believe I prepared well and we had energetic discussions, and I’m really digging these students and their enthusiasm.
Sunday, my Gentle Yoga class at Zen & Yoga. I gotta say I love this class. It’s just ‘what it says on the tin’, it’s just taking the poses and ratcheting them down so that it’s all pretty easy, and paying attention to the transitions. That said, it’s not always easy for everybody, but we work with that, and there was such good spirit in the room and it just flows smoothly. And I really dig all the students, every single one, they’re a great crowd.
Lastly, I’ve gotten to spend time working on the yoga magazine, and we’re close to launching. I’m so happy with all the material, I think it’s really gonna be something, and I have to say I love editing.
And then I had a great two hour private session with Andy, my karate teacher — other students were otherwise engaged, so it was just us, and we did a lot of work and had a blast.
All in all, good stuff!
